Josh Kale's experiences include interning with the Prodigal Media Company Poland, Ohio, Art Therapy Without Borders inc, UMAR non-profit organization and HopeWay mental health facility in Charlotte, North Carolina. Josh has received "The Power of Design to Change the World"​ award presented by Debbie Millman, President of Sterling Brands New York. More recently, Josh has been awarded the "Joy in Service"​ award at the annual Sunrise "Shine On"​ Leadership Conference in San Diego, California. Josh is an advocate with Council for Children's Rights Charlotte and has served on the board of directors at Disability Rights and Resources. Josh has experience working as a Creative Arts Assistant at the Center for Dialysis Care in Canfield, Ohio, and as a Creative Arts and Design Intern with Art Therapy Without Borders organization. Josh's design work has been featured in TEDx and Psychology Today. Josh has both a degree in Advertising + Graphic Design with specialization in Typography, and a Bachelors of Arts in Art/Design + Psychology from Queens University of Charlotte, North Carolina. Josh has also studied Urban Design as a post baccalaureate student in the School of Architecture, UNCC's Center City Campus. Josh has a dual Master's degree in Art Therapy + Mental Health Counseling and has worked as an outpatient therapist and also Art Psychotherapist with individuals in residential treatment.Most recently, Josh has been promoted to Clinical Director in residential treatment. The Clinical Director is responsible for providing clinical leadership and policy direction in all treatment programming, designing group curriculum, maintaining accepted standards of practice throughout facility, leading treatment team meetings and providing professional supervision to the clinical team.
