Jones IT is San Francisco's largest and highest-rated cybersecurity and IT consulting firm. 4 months after joining the company, our CEO asked me to take over sales. In this role, I: - Built our sales process- Prospected for new business- Managed a pipeline of 30-43 open opportunities- Forecasted and reported sales performance for our C-Suite- Rewrote our service contracts, increasing deal close rate at the procurement stage from 60% to 90%- Negotiated client renewals- Negotiated partner agreements- Created all-new products and services, including gap analysis services for SOC 2, HIPAA, GDPR, and GLBA compliance- Created a new VC partnership program and closed partnership deals with San Francisco VC firms- Interviewed candidates for technical and sales roles, both on behalf of our clients and for positions at Jones IT

In 2016 a drunk driver hit me and badly injured my back. I stopped working at Benefitfocus to recover. I started freelancing while recovering on bed rest. For 3 years, I built websites and managed online ad campaigns for local businesses. My main value prop was being 50% the cost and 2x the speed of popular agencies.

Benefitfocus was a 1200+ employee, pre-IPO SaaS company when I joined. I managed 36 engineers across the US and Hyderabad, India. My team built custom configurations for enterprise customers.

Built and launched a social networking startup, once valued at $7.4 million after our seed round. - Fundraised- Designed features and the UX- Managed development teams in Vietnam, India, and Austin, TX- Directed launch and marketingThe app was a market failure, but I learned about product/market fit and GTM, UI/UX, design, managing international teams, gathering customer feedback, iterating on features, and more!
