About Joshua Roser

Trying to write a LinkedIn summary is most likely one of the most difficult things you can do in life... I'm sure we can all admit we've battled with writing one of these but here goes nothing.I have over a decade of experience in the tech industry. At the beginning of my journey I was the person out the back, turning screws and just fixing technical faults. I thought that's all a technician was. That was until I started working at Apple Retail where I learnt that a technician can have a much bigger impact on someones life. Something I used to see as a simple technical fault could be a road block for some people. I know that might sound over the top to some, but I firmly believe that anyone can have a major impact on a persons life even if it's something as simple as teaching someone what 'Do Not Disturb' is.During my time at Apple and becoming a Lead Genius, I've unlocked a new passion of people development. Fixing a cracked display is fun but helping someone realise their potential and achieve a personal/professional goal is why I do what I do. Leading/training a team of 50+ technicians and seeing someone who never thought they were tech savvy to now explaining technical solutions to customers is a wow moment for me day-to-day.In my personal life I'm a fan of basketball, footy, music, dogs, cars, gaming and much more. I'm also a big fan of Australian Survivor and I'm not embarrassed to admit it. Feel free to reach out if you would like to connect.
