I am a leader in computer science education. I strive to help youth learn computing to become empowered citizens and creators of computational artifacts to benefit their communities and society. I connect people, ideas, resources, and organizations. I have devoted my career to human-centered design of learning opportunities and environments, in CS Ed and beyond. I listen to stakeholders to grasp complex situations and work to co-design paths forward. I have expertise in design and implementation of educator professional development/professional learning and facilitation of educator communities of practice. A lifelong learner who quickly grasps new material, I have worked across content domains. Most recently I have focused on computer science and computational thinking, but I have also developed materials and PD in STEM more generally, design thinking, and complex systems. I am a people person with a broad, international network from academia, philanthropy and business. I love understanding the drive that brings good people to do great things, and I recognize that the people I work with and for are the work.
