People inspire me. My passion is leading people and making a difference in their lives. I relish the a-ha! moments in life. More than my own personal epiphanies, I enjoy seeing the light bulb switch on with others around me, seeing that exact moment when they “get it”. As a leader I feel it’s important to relate to my team. Whether I’m bringing my love for pop culture into our daily interactions or infusing my humor into our team meetings, I get everyone involved in a way that’s both fun and productive. I like making people laugh. Laughter helps everyone pull together in difficult times and it helps to also diffuse tense situations keeping the team focused on results. Joviality also breaks down barriers; it keeps everyone open and honest. I find that my candor and appreciation for my team is what fosters a mutual love and respect between us.Never forgetting my humble beginnings has also kept me grounded with my employees. Having worked my way up from the bottom is a quality I’m proud of and haven’t lost in myself. As such, developing and promoting folks is a favorite aspect of my job.I value honesty, integrity and hard work.
