Then transitioned to be developer one, lead client application architect, and technical lead for Dragon Assistant 3 an internal startup effort which grew to 25+ client side developers and 80000+ users across 6+ languages (C++, C#, WPF). Most recently focused on development of a cross platform / cross language binding NLU SDK effort as part of the Nuance Mix initiative (C, Linux, some C++).

Virtualization Startup: Xen on Linux 2.6 with QEMU for Windows and Linux VMs. Responsible for storage architecture including discovery, configuration, control, and performance on Xen virtualization based node. Combination of applications (some C++, lots of C), an ever growing python script layer, and kernel driver work. High Availability with multipath-tools over FC and iSCSI SAN as well as more bleeding edge technology such as ATA over Ethernet and shared SAS. Lots of multithreading issues. Lots of different storage arrays.
