Throughout this summer research project, I have had the honor to work alongside faculty in an AWS environment for the use of Point Loma Nazarene University's Topics in Information Security class. The premise of this environment was to create a space where students can safely learn and practice the different phases of the Kill Chain. On top of learning the material I was working with my tasks included creating systems with different vulnerabilities, updating/creating documentation, creating penetration testing exercises, and researching different tools & methods to apply to the curriculum. A big component to this summer research project was to familiarize myself with the AWS platform and learn to work with it, consequently learning about cloud computing along the way. A lot of my work was learning about every framework, tool, concept, and practices to successfully create this virtual environment.

As a Teacher Assistant in Point Loma Nazarene University's Intro to Programming (CSC 1043) & Objects and Elementary Data Structures (CSC 1054) I assist freshmen students in understanding the underlying fundamentals of computer science while helping them develop an analytical approach to real world software problems through weekly labs in Java programming language. Throughout their journey in studying computer science, I also helped grade labs and quizzes while giving constructive feedback on assignments to help the students grow from each assignment. Part of working as a Teacher Assistant also required me to collaborate and work as part of a team of other Teacher Assistants to brainstorm ideas to formulate protocols to better help the student's growth on the subject.

As Robotics Lead Coach at Code Wiz, I am responsible for updating Robotics coaches on new platforms we are using, new challenges the partner organization we work with (First Lego League), and any new protocols. I am also responsible for answering any pending questions any coach might have for robotics in person and online platform (CoderZ).
