I lead the marketing, comms, brand, and public relations functions for organisations primarily in the built environment, but also across complementary sectors including hospitality, education, catering, HR, technology, manufacturing, environmental, and energy (EPSS). My expertise lies in designing and delivering strategies that allow purpose-driven organisations to communicate better with their target audiences.I have led integrated comms across B2C and B2B markets, covering many industries and household names, involving but not limited to creating and launching new brands following joint ventures and M&As; designing and delivering marketing strategies from scratch; leading internal communications programmes; curating public affairs and lobbying events and campaigns; managing perception audits; and facilitating strategic workshops for brand identity and messaging development purposes.I have had my work published in business and trade titles including Management Today, Talk Business, Professional Manager Magazine, Minutehack, Smart Building Magazine, Construction News, Work Design Magazine, Work&Place, Workplace Insight, FX, Facilities Management Journal, Facilitate, i-FM, and I have produced academic and research papers for the Royal Institution for Chartered Surveyors (RICS) and the International Facility Management Association (IFMA). As a former editor, I produced architecture & design magazine supplements on behalf of Mix Interiors, and Design Insider for the British Contract Furnishing Association (BCFA).I am often invited to speak at renowned industry conferences, including the CoreNet Global Summits, the Net Zero & Energy Management Expo (EMEX), IFMA’s World Workplace, Workplace Futures, the Facilities Event, the Workplace Event, and the RICS Commercial Property Conference. I am also a frequent chair and facilitator of roundtable events and symposiums. In 2018, I was invited to join the board of the IFMA UK Chapter and the FM sector insight group at RICS, two world-leading associations in the built environment sector. I have also volunteered for the Association of Women in Property (2019-2020), a network that exists to expand knowledge and inspires change for women working in the property and construction industry, and the Property Marketing Awards (2020-2023), an annual not-for-profit event, organised by the Chartered Surveyors’ Company, a City of London livery company that supports the education of young people. In order to promote diversity in the sector, I offer pro bono guest speaking & lecturing at schools, colleges & universities.
