Sailed 10 years globally as a ship's officer on crude oil and clean products tankers, RO/RO, OSV, container, heavy-lift and general cargo vessels up through the Chief Officer position. Daily duties focused on coordinating all aspects of a ship’s affairs, worldwide navigation, ship-to-ship transfer, cargo planning, stability assurance, collaborating negotiations between various parties, training 35 crew members and supervising international contractors. Responsibilities grew throughout my sailing career and included accountability for overseeing the operation of a $2 billion asset. I hold a U.S. Coast Guard Unlimited Master's (Captain's) License - Document of Continuity, issued in 2014.
