About Joy Oliver

I am anchored in Bowen Family Systems which relates to family of origin dynamics that influence how an individual relates to others in their adult life. Within that paradigm I work with families to help them interact in a more calm, collaborative way. I am also trained in Gottman Couples therapy and in Emotionally Focused Couples therapy. During my practicing years I have done crisis intervention for both individuals and families. I do therapy in a safe, non-judgmental setting.
