Joyful Marketing is a boutique marketing agency working with small businesses to improve their social media presence through advertising and content creation. Joyful Marketing works individually with each business to develop a social media plan that attracts more clients and increases their monthly budget. This is accomplished through analytics, SEO, website design, video production, and ensuring their online platforms connect with their audience.

Supervise all marketing content and design across social media, print, and television platforms. Design and manage website content effectively. Generate, write, and create graphic design materials for newsletters, email marketing, and brochures. Plan and coordinate fundraising events, including a spring Gala and fall 5K run/walk. Develop and present training courses to businesses and organizations on recognizing individuals with Alzheimer’s Disease and Related Dementias. Manage the Records and Evidence Division to include all FOIAs, Arrest Warrants, Rule 5s, and Tickets/Warnings. Managed all marketing, communication, branding, social media, video production, and web content for the 86-person police department. Create and disseminate all verbal communication to include news releases, annual reports, social media posts, speeches, emails, and TV/radio/newspaper interviews with local media. Manage and facilitate all Freedom of Information Act requests. Coordinate and execute all public events. Oversee public educational campaigns. Manage and communicate messages to the public on behalf of the Emergency Management Division during natural and man-made emergencies

Responsible for daily content airing on the 9 hours of news programming with the direct supervision of 60+ people. Managed and edited anchor, producer and reporter scripts. Produced hurricane coverage for the television station and acted as the liaison between county officials. Conducted other managerial duties to include, budget, schedules, and annual reviews.

Chose and designated material for anchors and reporters airing on the evening newscasts. Produced newscasts, reported on various topics affecting the Charleston and surrounding ares, and won four Regional Emmy awards for 30-minute newscasts and documentaries.
