At present, I am the Marketing Executive for Tidalwave Marketing. Tidalwave is the subsidiary marketing agency under a broader umbrella group, Waivestar. We are an end-to-end marketing agency that develops creative, digital & marketing strategies as well as fulfil the printing, distribution and warehouse needs for all our current & potential clients. Building on the Marketing & Social Media Coordinator role that I held previously, my current position allows me to navigate between different marketing campaigns for key clients and establish my knowledge in key marketing initiatives (i.e. digital & social, print & production) My current responsibilities include: • Assist in leading & managing the Tidalwave Marketing – ensuring team members achieve their primary objectives• Develop required marketing strategies & creative for clients • Oversee execution of all local, regional & national marketing for clients• Management of key monthly marketing assets - Magazine & in store loop DVD)• Stakeholder, franchisee, client & supplier relationship management• Manage & Oversee digital, email and social media strategy for clients• Planning and execution of national in-store campaigns and POS• Negotiate ad space availability in client’s key marketing assets • Negotiate and execute all competitions – including prize sourcing & premiums• Graphic Design & Coordination • Writing, creation and production of digital/social media content including Blog, Facebook, Twitter & Instagram• Ensure brand compliance• Manage the marketing budget and approve expenses• Generation of quarterly marketing reports• Participate in client pitches On top of these responsibilities, I also co-conceptualised and carried through a refresh of the client’s magazine- rebranding various new segments which were very well received by clients and franchisors.

I was originally employed as a Marketing Assistant in Tidalwave Marketing and later took on the role of Marketing & Social Coordinator. The position was a large stepping stone in which I was able to put the skills and understanding I had learnt during my time in a retail store front to practice. It allowed me to hone my strategic thinking, develop my understanding of and appreciation for marketing initiatives. During this time, I was responsible for: • Coordination & Execution of National in-store promotions & POS for key clients • Executing & Implementation of Competitions • Key point of contact for distributors and suppliers • Work closely with key external agencies to produce digital & video content• Management of Staff Communication Channels • Creative Asset Sourcing & Management• Maintenance of social media channels - including the production of digital media content• Assist in preparing monthly marketing reports
