Working with a team from IMC to provide practical recommendations for how DFID programs can maximize opportunities from digital and innovation in their agriculture and agriculture-related programs in Tanzania. Key areas of work are providing technical input to develop the DFID Country Engagement Strategy, including recommendations for stakeholder engagement, key documentation (government enabling environment, etc.), and innovation landscape mapping across the agricultural sector.

• Conceptualize, develop, and secure collaborative partnerships between the World Bank and other development institutions, the private sector, developing country governments, drone experts, technology experts, and developing country user groups, positioning Tanzania as a leader within the Drones for Social Impact space. • Identify, engage, and organize individuals, organizations, and entities, who are current users of drone technology, through stakeholder meetings to create a cohesive community of practice. • Organize and host dialogues between relevant Government of Tanzania entities, including relevant regulatory authorities, and the community of practice. • Lead efforts to engage the relevant private sector organizations to support Drones for Social Impact agenda, including fundraising and problem statement contribution. • As part of a team, design and implement a World Bank-led knowledge sharing event that leverages, strengthens, and grows the Drones for Social Impact agenda within Tanzania. • Contribute to analytical work strategy on the topic, including success stories, use cases, and further development of the sector. • Provide guidance, strategy, and feedback on multi-platform and multimedia communications for the Lake Victoria Challenge. • Manage relationships between Lake Victoria Challenge partners, Government of Tanzania, development partners, and other relevant stakeholders

• Working with Tanzania Open Data Initiative team to organize and host Open Data training workshops focused in Health, Education, WASH, Agriculture, and Transportation. • Create curriculum and facilitate training for various representatives across the public sector and civil society on Open Data in Agriculture and Transportation. • Planning, organizing, and executing the Flying Zebra Challenge, Tanzania’s first drone flying competition.

• Supporting the growth of early stage technology startups through providing coaching, grant management, and training. • Fostering relationships between various partners and actors across the innovation ecosystem in Tanzania through events, policy development workshops, and conferences. • Manage growth of Kinu Innovation Space, Tanzania’s first privately funded innovation space.
