Brought new capabilties to the team to include partnering with the CMA/SIMA to provide team members the ability to become certified in Category Management, added ability to create & modify planograms by adding Blue Yonder software to our systems portfolio, partnered with Kantar to bring Category and Retail insights to our clients, and re-negotiated our contract with IRI to move from a view-only model to a custom model with no cost increase. Also created new positions on the team to include 2 Team Leaders that have direct reports, increased the total compensation package for team members, and re-wrote all job descriptions for the team. Team training is a focus and priority with mentors assigned to all new hires and trainings on IRI, OnDemand/Stratum, Power BI, Blue Yonder, and best in class reporting conducted monthly. Initial role leading category development for Edgewell's Shave, Feminine Care and Sun Care categories on the Kroger & Meijer accounts with one direct report. Company re-structure 5 months after my start date brought a new role as Senior Category Development Manager for the Feminine Hygiene category across all Grocery, Drug, Value & Club customers with 2 direct reports.Our team created new processes and collaboration with our broker partner to provide best in class category stories leveraging insights on Hispanic shoppers, value conscious shoppers, and need states.Our team successfully defended share of shelf in an extremely competitive environment and gained incremental distribution at Kroger, Dollar General and Family Dollar.

Owned and created all Coffee and Tea category strategies, merchandising and sales support for the Kroger Team. Managed 1 direct employee as well as indirect support staff via Acosta. Co-led expansion of specialized branded merchandising expansion. Created and presented new item presentations which resulted in the acceptance of net incremental sku gains in both the Coffee and Tea categories.
