In charge of project scheduling, ordering materials, meeting with clients, setting up subcontract agreements, organizing equipment and personnel, and project coordination. Develops cost estimates for heavy civil construction projects, calculates quantity takeoffs, and performs set reviews. ➣ Currently spearheading a large project that includes over 60 staff and a variety of subcontracting teams. ➣ Instrumental in directing and successfully completing large, complex projects with a diverse client base that includes Republic Services, The City of Savannah, Waste Management, Greenville County, SC, Sanifill, The City of Spartanburg, SC, South Carolina Electric & Gas, and Allied Waste.➣ Attends pre-bid meetings and facilitates bid package reviews, including plans, specifications, CADs, geotechnical reports, and other project planning documents. ➣ Identifies, qualifies, and confirms vendors and subcontractors to be utilized for each project. Charged with collecting and maintaining safety records and work experience for all subcontractors.➣ Works collaboratively with HR to recruit, hire, and develop top talent based on existing business needs.➣ Establishes and develops long-term business relationships with vendors, suppliers, and subcontractors. ➣ Closely monitors project status and ongoing performance data, providing real-time updates to the Owner. ➣ Serves as a trusted liaison and primary point of contact between the project management team, the client, and company leadership to ensure consistent and transparent communication. ➣ Holds full accountability for assessing potential project risks, designing mitigation plans, controlling costs, and maintaining strict adherence to client specifications and project timelines.
