Intern in the Terminal Funding department (unit of Transamerica's Defined Benefits Operations). Project Manager for an undertaking to reallocate $19 million in reserves for 1,900 plan participants, providing:- Tracking and Updating to multiple departments (Legal, Actuarial, Finance, Risk, Control, Unclaimed Property, and Operations) - Training and Coaching team members; Quality-Checking team member outputs to ensure accuracy and consistency within project parameters- Support as a primary point of contact for questions, issues, and conflicts; having the resourcefulness to resolve such instances- Analysis and Manual Calculations of payee amounts via use of actuarial conversion factors, interest tables, and present values- Implementation of more efficient protocols for specific applications when possible- Development of standard operating procedures for future projects of similar scopeAt this internship, I have had considerable exposure to multiple facets of the corporate world, sought out and seized leadership opportunities, and utilized my experiences to refine my skillset.
