Off loading Jet Fuel and delivering Canadian Crude to ships that sail all over the Pacific. We have been loading Crude and offloading Jet Fuel from our new berth as of July 2023. From connecting the state of the art loading arms to operating the Dock Safety Unit which handles the vapours from crude oil, the team works together to load or unload the ships and get them on their way in a timely manner while ensuring the integrity of the environment while doing so. A monumental task to say the least. There is a great deal of paperwork involved to certify load totals and ensure the exact amount of oil is delivered to each ship. We deal with the Vancouver Port Authority as well as Seaforth, Ocean Smart and various groups of inspectors as well. We stand by our deliveries and work together as a team to deliver our product safely and on time.

Kamloops, British Columbia, Canada

Trained on a circuit of jobs within the plant. Grinding, De-Watering and Tailings are three that I have trained on. Safety is the primary theme as I complete rounds checking all pumps, vessels and piping throughout my area. I collect samples at various stages of production and perform tests to ensure quality of copper and gold. Build isolation plans from computer matrix then perform lockout - tagout for maintenance. I also participate in daily safety meetings

Commissioned KID and KEP Extraction plants. Trained as Backup Control Room Operator for Extraction and Tailings. Isolate machinery, pumps and pipelines for preventive maintenance. Electronic permitting and data entry. Perform hourly rounds to ensure equipment integrity. Create isolation plans through the reading of P&ID’s. Implemented LOTO for isolation and maintenance purposes. Performed Safety Presentations and used daily safe work practices.

Chasm, Bc

Control Room Operator for Energy Plant. Operated hog fuel furnace for heating thermal oil. Ran large forklifts for loading lumber on rail cars. Operated thermal oil lumber kilns for the drying of lumber. Performed duties on Drop Bins and Planer in Planer Mill. Isolated pipelines for maintenance. Introduced and applied daily safe work practices.

Weyburn, Saskatchewan, Canada

Performed water tests to ensure safe and optimal operation of the Power Boiler. Performed preventative maintenance on pumps, heat exchangers and other equipment to ensure proper operation of the plant. Ran the panel as a Control Room Operator involving computer operating systems and delegated duties to plant operations. Actively participated in the commissioning of the Ethanol Plant. Was head of Plant Safety and implemented and applied all safety initiatives.

Quesnel, British Columbia, Canada

Operated computerized control systems, boilers, turbines and generators in order to produce steam for electricity. Trained as a Control Room Operator as well as a Water Treatment Plant operator and also controlled the Effluent System. Was Kiln and Recaust operator as well as maintaining and cleaning and testing the Plant recovery boiler. Participated in startups and shutdowns for over 12 years. Isolations and lock out tag outs for maintenance. Reading diagrams and keeping a detailed log of operations. Was Crew Safety Rep for Steam and Recovery.
