- Characterized the capability of the pre-production D.I.Wire Pro, a desktop CNC wire-bender (currently in market). Created a benchtop test bed and conducted usability, life, and repeatability testing to inform final mechanical design. Developed bending parameters for a wide range of materials, tempers, and gauges while determining the limits of the machine’s repeatable capability.- Devised the user interface (temperature & time setting) for OXO digital thermometer.

- Conceptualized and prototyped multisensory, interactive storytelling elements for the Color of Life exhibit at the California Academy of Sciences (exhibit ongoing). - Assembled and debugged Twitter-connected surfboard gantry robot for HP-sponsored advertising campaign.

- Organized a team of user-experience researchers, engineers, market researchers, and an industrial designer within a three month long program to develop a Bose home music system. Integrated and educated team on a new user-centered design process. - Conducted interviews and was responsible for synthesizing and analyzing research data. - Trained with industrial designers to develop the product’s preliminary appearance and interface.
