Network Operations Center Technician
Current- Performs proactive monitoring, configuration management and fault resolution of assigned client networks (enterprise-level)- Performs customer advocate duties while maintaining a positive and professional manner at all times, during high stress situations- Takes calls and provides status from and to customers on a regular basis.- Has direct interaction and escalates troubles internally and externally on behalf of the customer - Maintains workload through a queue, detailing each ticket with notes of steps taken, test results and resolution data.- Works tickets on a routine basis.- Uses web applications such as Cisco Prime, Cisco Meraki Dashboard, and Cradlepoint NetCloud.- Works with equipment from several vendors, including Cisco, Fortinet, Adtran, Juniper, and Palo Alto.- Consistently engages all levels of support, from site employees and network engineers to district managers and service managers.- Works with Broadband, T1, Ethernet, Cellular, and MPLS circuits.- Maintains various pieces of equipment, such as routers, firewalls, switches, APs, etc.- Assists with training new NOC technicians in both technical aspects and company policies/procedures.
