English Teacher
CurrentCurrently at Greenwood High School, I teach one section of regular 10th grade English, two sections of co-taught inclusion 10th grade English, one section co-taught inclusion 12th grade English, and two sections of regular 12th grade English. At Mena High School, I was the instructor for concurrent credit classes with Rich Mountain Community College. I taught three sections of AP English Language and Composition and one section of Oral Communication. In my capacity as reading specialist, literacy coordinator, and department chair, I coordinated activities and curriculum planning, and professional development for best practices in literacy.While at Mena Middle School I taught sixth grade reading, reading intervention classes, and eighth grade literacy.
