I am a seasoned risk control leader interested in leveraging my extensive experience in the investment banking industry to pursue opportunities as a career coach / mentor. I began my career as a regulator, working in the audit functions of both the Chicago Board of Trade and Chicago Board Options Exchange. This led to an offer to join the Controller’s department at O’Connor & Associates, a proprietary trading partnership that ultimately merged with Swiss Bank (UBS), where I have worked the majority of my career.At UBS I enjoyed a variety of roles across the Front Office, Finance Department and Risk Control; my favorite positions are those where I am called upon to lead a team to build, solve, or innovate. I am immensely proud of the tools we built and implemented during my tenure in the Market Risk department.Throughout my career in Risk Control I have been a proactive mentor, both via formal and informal channels, and hence developed a reputation as “the person to talk to” for advice, counseling or connections to job leads.My aim is to step away from the immense demands of the Chief of Staff role and dedicate my efforts to advising and counseling individuals to reach their career aspirations.
