Within the formulation team in Ipsens biologics development department, I plan and execute studies to understand protein stability from formulation to the clinic. As an Associate Scientist at Illumina, my primary responsibilities were design and execution of experiments, data analysis and interpretation to meet project goals. I researched and tested new materials and their effect on surface interactions within the R&D department using a range of analysis techniques. In my role as a Process Engineer in the Dry Etch department at Intel Ireland I was responsible for the analysis of defect and parametric data during my shift. I resolved any issues that arose to ensure that our production time and quality goals were met. In addition to my process duties, I was an office ergonomic assessor and have an interest in improving safety standards.I attained a First Class Masters in Chemistry at the University of Liverpool. In my final year research project I synthesised novel monomers. These were polymerised under varied experimental conditions to form polymers targeted towards drug delivery applications. As University of Liverpool Trampoline Club Captain I managed the club committee and organised and ran the clubs annual competition. I enjoyed using my Level 2 Coaching Qualification to structure the training sessions and improve the skill of club members.
