    We service Jackson County in Western NC at the edge of the Qualla Boundary (Cherokee Indian Rez) and the Smoky Mountain National Park. Service response times can be as long as 45 minutes, challenging radio communications at times and some really cool aging Appalachian community. Great community of medics to work with, a growing hospital system in a region where request a fair amount of air medical assistance. Neighboring counties Haywood, Macon, Swain and Tribal EMS all have folks that harbor the same Pt. care challenges and have some solid medics as well. We have a fair amount of joint scenes together. Pretty cool.
