My main goal is to work with higher education faculty and administrators to leverage the power of evidence-based instructional practices (EBIPs) to improve STEM student outcomes. Even though we know EBIPs are extremely effectively in improving STEM student performance, reducing achievement gaps, and increasing belonging, they are still used infrequently. I will partner with you and your program to characterize your current teaching and course design situation, help you implement evidence-based recommendations to make improvements, and then finally document the positive impacts that have resulting which you can use to celebrate and promote your program's commitment to using EBIPs and improving STEM education.
