As an Operations Manager of a Logistics company I check and verify shipping records, handle questions or concerns of shipping shortages or overages and address problems with inventory control. Organization is the key to success and to service each business division while I strive to maintain and improve overall operational and departmental efficiency and troubleshoot and provide solutions for issues of a moderate to complex scope. I ensure proper compliance and adherence to all appropriate health and safety regulations and cleanliness requirements are followed both with regards for personal and inventory safety while overseeing the day-to-day operations of finished goods. I am responsible for directing the operations of the warehouse team to achieve objectives and I manage a staff of approximately 10 employees and 40 drivers.

During my time at Cowboy Harley I assisted the service department manager and maintained a smooth running efficient service department. I was responsible for diagnosing problems accurately and had to described them on the repair order in detail. I assigned jobs to technicians based on skill level and resource utilization and reviewed work-in-progress orders to ensure quality and timeliness. I occasionally assisted technicians when they had difficulty performing service work and also determined correct part numbers on repair orders and assisted the parts department with picking and posting of parts.
