Manage multi-discipline teams working several CO2 floods in Mississippi.

Manage two multi-discipline teams consisting of reservoir engineers, operations engineers, geologists, reservoir techs, operations techs and geology techs. Teams are responsible for maintaining and optimizing two large water flood fields along the southern Cedar Creek Anticline in Montana and North Dakota.

Dallas/Fort Worth Area

Manage and optimize water flood activities in the Cedar Creek Anticline area. Study and analyze multiple reservoirs for potential future CO2 flooding opportunity. Manage field through budget and reserves processes.

Dallas/Fort Worth Area

Plan detailed drilling program and capital forecast for the life of the field consisting of 29,000 net acres, three rigs and over 100 wells.Manage decline curves and booking of reserves for all operated and non-operated Gonzales County wells.Analyze production and implement creative, unique strategies to better exploit the reservoir by adjusting well locations, drilling order, completion techniques, and flow-back techniques. Value acreage across the Eagle Ford to determine land acquisition opportunities and bidding strategies.

Dallas/Fort Worth Area

Reservoir Engineer working the Bakken/Three Forks formation in North Dakota. Work in a team with Engineers, Geologists and Landmen to plan drilling locations, select optimal frac techniques, and optimize well spacing and production. Determine pre-drill production estimates for non-operated wells and recommend whether or not to participate. Evaluate all wells, forecast production, and book reserves. - Led initial study on pad-type drilling feasibility. - Evaluated pressure test data to determine effects of natural fractures on infill drilling.- Used horizontal well multi-frac reservoir simulator to model wells in different areas of the Bakken and determine optimum drilling density by integrating model results with economic software.- History matched wells in reservoir simulator to better understand reservoir and fracture properties. - Testified in several hearings to the North Dakota state board.

Deepwater Reservoir Engineer in Exploration. Work with Geologists to move projects to drill-ready status by evaluating cost estimates, development scenarios, economics, sizing, and risking for different prospects. Use PRiSE, Aries, Owl and Reservoir KB on a regular basis. Also create and run Nexen's worst-case discharge scenarios for all permits to assure compliance with new BOEM regulations.

Worked on the chemical program for shelf properties. Visited with chemical companies to help evaluate which services best fit our company's needs. Continued work on P&A and optimization plans for older shelf properties. Witnessed the pipeline production and spooling process in Corpus Christi.

Production Engineer in charge of three land and Gulf of Mexico shelf properties. Work with Aries, Dwight's, and SAP to input production data and test alternatives for well workovers and recompletions. Find effective methods to increase/maintain production and push the workovers to execution.

Reservoir engineer on a deepwater project. Run economics and volumetrics using Prise, Perform, and Aries. Work directly in a team with a geologist and geophysicist. Assist in log interpretation and core evaluation to better understand reservoir characteristics. Also worked flow assurance and nodal analysis. Also worked in Deepwater Exploration and Appraisal group analyzing economics and feasibility of potential prospects.

Spent time in deepwater and witnessed a lower completion including perforating, bailing, and frac-pac operations. Spent time in the shelf overseeing workover and snubbing operations performed on a production platform. Worked several months in the office writing MMS procedures, designing wellbore schematics, and creating cost estimates for workover prospects.

Spent several two week hitches on drilling rigs in the Gulf of Mexico. Well Control School certified at the supervisor level. Night Company Representative on a barge rig for four months with work consisting of fluids calculations, report generating, and overall supervision over the rig and rig personnel. Spent time in the office designing casing, mud system, and directional plan for shelf prospects.

Worked in the Deepwater GOM group. Witnessed drilling, freezing, and transport of 300' core in deepwater. Spent time in Core Lab viewing core samples and witnessing reservoir fluid and rock property tests. Created several cross sections of deepwater fields and related core data to log data.

Worked as a roustabout and engineer trainee in Poynor, TX. Helped maintain the Fairway Gas Plant and the surrounding wells, water stations, etc. Witnessed several workovers consisting of wireline, cement retainer and fishing operations.
