Drafted a letter to the NLRB regional director, seeking dismissal of an untimely RM petition based on Cemex decision. NLRB authorized complaint, pursuing summary judgment and a 10(j) injunction. Researched theories of liability for third-party conduct under Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and the Arizona Civil Rights Act. Drafted a position statement based on joint employer liability theory.Reviewed employer documents and drafted arbitration request, demonstrating violation of subcontracting provisions in collective bargaining agreement. Participated in contract integration trainings, and successfully integrated three Union Hotel contracts. Interviewed workers on unfair labor practice claims based on threats, surveillance, and access. Drafted worker offers of proof to submit to the NLRB. Drafted worker sexual harassment memorandum and interviewed corroborating witnesses.

Organized with trailblazers from immigrant rights organizations, research institutions, and legal services in a nine month cohort-based program to advance efforts to increase publicly-funded legal representation for those facing deportation while building power in communities through in-depth leadership skills training. Under the umbrella of the Fairness to Freedom campaign, the URGENT Fellowship educates and trains organizers to advance the right to legal representation on the federal, state, and local level.

Spring 2021, researched and presented on how imposter syndrome disproportionately affects women in the workplace, discussing the internalization of doubt and how to effectively combat imposter syndrome. Fall 2020, researched and presented on Amy Coney Barrett’s nomination to the Supreme Court, analyzing her previous court rulings, background, beliefs, and discussing the implications of her nomination to the Supreme Court for landmark cases like Roe v Wade.
