I love solving problems. Since childhood, I have had a passion for mathematics. As I have grown, I have taken this passion for problem solving into my education and my career.True to my background in Industrial Engineering, I aim to find efficient solutions to problems or inefficiencies. My goal is to use this analytical skillset to provide value in the financial services industry. In order to do so, I've picked up some skills that have helped me become the most effective problem solver I can be, including:1. Finance: I am well-versed in the world of finance. I have experience in investments, economics, and financial accounting, which I developed as an analyst in Georgia Tech's Investments Committee and Trading Club and now apply to my role at Goldman Sachs. I have obtained the Bloomberg Market Concepts Certificate, and I have also passed the CFA Level 1 exam.2. Analytics: Given my data-oriented background, I have plenty of programming experience in Python, SQL, R, and Java. I have also worked extensively in Microsoft Office, particularly in Excel. Additionally, I have grown proficient with industry tools such as Bloomberg, Morningstar, and Axioma. These technical skills allow me to consider a variety of perspectives when analyzing data and solving problems.3. Interpersonal Skills: While hard skills get the job done, I believe a qualified worker needs both hard and soft skills to be valuable to a business. As a former camp counselor, private tutor, and salesman, I have invaluable experience in leadership, teamwork, conflict management, and effective communication.
