Senior Stem Product Specialist
CurrentSouthern California, Southern Nevada, and Southern Utah region. Travel throughout the region visiting college campuses, meeting with professors and administrators to promote the company's digital products in STEM. Work with sales representatives, sales management, other specialists, and product teams to effectively position products, set-up and execute sales presentations, and close business. Duties include presentations, training of customers and colleagues including creating training materials, helping customers create courses and onboard students, customer support for very tricky technology issues, training new sales representatives, coaching more experienced sales representatives, reporting market trends to key company stakeholders, managing travel budget and resources, and overall serving as an ambassador for Macmillan in an uncertain period in higher education publishing.
