Professionally, I am a legislative analyst based in New York; an independent journalist covering political instability, disinformation campaigns, and armed conflict; and an avid researcher, interviewer, and experienced debater. My passions for public speaking, responsible journalism, and solution-oriented public service have inspired me to always use my voice to effect positive change. Previously, I served as an International Security and Nuclear Disarmament advisor to the Permanent Mission of Costa Rica at the United Nations, a speechwriter for a UN Ambassador, a debate coach to middle school students, and the founding president of Pace Debates, The Official Speech and Debate Team of Pace University. Personally, I am the host of the On The Ticket Show, highlighting the myriad of ways to make a difference beyond voting in elections, and featuring 40+ guests including Ph.D. Professors, Nobel Laureates, and Youth Advocates. I believe people are much more than their jobs, careers, and work experiences, and genuinely look forward to authentically connecting with anyone interested in improving their public speaking skills, seeking professional development advisement, or making an impact in their communities.
