• Emissions Inventory: assembled government-wide and community-wide greenhouse gas inventories according to ICLEI protocol for local governments by collecting and analyzing data on electricity, green energy, natural gas & other fuels, vehicle miles traveled, wastewater, solid waste, and other emission sources. -Reported quantitative and qualitative measures of emissions, mitigation, and adaptation efforts of the City of Portland to international protocol groups including ICLEI, C40, and Global Covenant of Mayors. • Equity Metrics: participated in an inter-agency pilot project to measure the equity outcomes of Portland Climate Action Plan policies concerning green infrastructure, urban heat islands, and emergency response to extreme heat events.-Examined how BPS affects other City & County agencies that impact vulnerable populations through programs, policies, and actions related to the Portland Climate Action Plan. -Interviewed City staff as qualitative data collection. • MWESB Diesel Equipment: Conducted an over-the-phone survey of off-road diesel equipment usage by minority-owned, women-owned, and emerging small businesses in order to scope the size of a grant for covering the cost of upgrading and retrofitting equipment. • Sustainable Consumption Strategy: devised working groups, utilizing data from Multnomah County Consumption-Based Emissions Inventory and consumption reports from DEQ and Metro.• Gender Scan: Performed gendered term scan of Climate Action Plan documents for gender-neutrality.
