Assisted with all aspects in maintaining the Contingent Staffing application, written in ColdFusion and C# / ASP.NET using SQL Server for its database. Worked remotely for two years with a team based in Texas, out of our Woburn, MA office.Responsible for maintaining all aspects of the Position Manager 10 flagship product for many years. Written in ColdFusion and C# / ASP.NET using SQL Server for its database, the Position Manager 10 product handles an average of 10,000 daily applications from over 2000 healthcare facility locations throughout the country.Lead an offshore team using Scrum and Agile methodologies to assist in the development, maintenance, and quality assurance of the Position Manager 10 product. Facilitated all aspects of project management with use of Team Foundation Server from Microsoft.Integrated with the third-party vendors using the HR-XML specifications. Created Windows Communication Foundation services written in C# using ASP.NET as the integration platform between the vendor and Position Manager 10.Investigated issues that are reported from customers. Re-wrote SQL objects for optimum performance when required. Assisted in the migration of clients using SSIS when the need arose.

Responsible for all in-house application development and maintenance of the schools database and Internet/Intranet environments. Managed a team of developers ensuring applications were efficiently written and completed in a timely manner. All web based application developed for use by the school were written using a combination of ColdFusion, Perl, Java and JavaScript. Desktop application were developed using FileMaker Pro, Power Builder and/or Access.Managed the conversion project of transferring the schools FileMaker Pro database environment into an Oracle database environment. Developed and maintained the Oracle database. Created a new web based application using ColdFusion to replace the old desktop FileMaker Pro application which was used by all faculty, staff, students, as well as alumni and research centers.Installed and configured the schools Internet/Intranet services using Netscape's server products. Administered Netscape SuiteSpot 3 server products, including Enterprise, Collabra, Messaging, LDAP, Proxy and Calendar servers. Responsible for all Windows NT Server administration related to Internet publishing. Created and maintained user accounts that allowed for direct web publishing by the faculty across multiple NT domains.Supported Computer Support Services to develop training materials for the applications written, and to ensure that the applications are deployed in a quick and efficient manner.Continued to act as the backup Network Manager for the school in all aspects of that position.

Designed the new file server environment for the new School of Management Rafik B. Hariri building, that opened in September 1996. This new network environment included a primary Novell IntranetWare 4.11 file server backbone, a Windows NT Server environment for the schools Web services, and a small Mac network to support legacy applications. The network environment was designed to handle over 4000 internal nodes with an estimated 500 to 2500 active users by spring of 1997. Responsible for the entire schools' network consisting of 10 file servers and over 250 nodes. Maintained a mixed client server network environment which included both MAC and PC networks using both NetWare and Windows NT Server environments. Assisted users with any network related problems that occurred and trained them in proper use of the network and the available resources. Maintained the user network environment, created new users as needed, performed routine backups, and monitored the network. Installed, configured and maintained the schools' Oracle database server. Responsible for all administrative actions performed on the database including creating databases, users and performing routine backups.Installed, configured and maintained the schools' Web servers. Responsible for maintaining security, writing CGI scripts, and updating HTML pages.Worked closely with contacts at Information Technologies, which maintains all networking connectivity, and University Information Systems, which maintains the mainframes and other campus wide Mac and PC networks.

Provided primary technical support for the schools multiple facilities, consisting of over 100 nodes and 15 servers. Ensured classrooms were set up properly for each of the authorized education classes. Maintained the classroom, administrative file servers, and SCO Unix hosts.Installed, configured and maintained the Oracle, Sybase and Lotus Notes databases for NetWare. Setup all user databases and accounts within Oracle and Sybase using custom written SQL scripts.Designed and implemented a facility wide backbone connecting all classroom based servers together, allowing students greater access to facility resources. The backbone also allowed the staff access to the servers while classes were running to perform maintenance, install new software prepare for incoming classes and other routine maintenance. Designed and implemented a server based reload procedure for reloading the student workstations via the server backbone.Installed, designed and implemented the centers first World Wide Web server.Assisted and substituted for facility manager, whenever he was not present, in all areas of his responsibilities.
