CurrentObservability• Automated the validation of Datadog agent versions to build confidence and ensure upgrades won't cause a loss of metrics from any of our 85k agents.• Refactored GitHub's logging pipeline by using many tiny default Azure Event Hub clusters in the queueing layer rather than a handful of beefier bespoke clusters, not only simplifying management of the pipeline but improving efficiency as well.MacCloud• Managed the infrastructure for macOS runners for both GitHub Actions and Azure DevOps.• Coordinated between cloud procurement, system integrators, and the most obscure Azure teams to ensure new racks for the latest version of our "MacCloud" got delivered to the right location in our Azure datacenters.• Automated as much as possible of the bootstrapping, validation, inventory process, and telemetry for all of the management servers, switches, and macOS hosts in each of our racks, working around Microsoft's endless red tape and Apple's EULA along every step of the exhausting journey.• Created a CLI tool to ease the management of our legacy "trashcan Mac" racks, speeding up our on-call and DRI response times.
