Culture OC is Orange County's newest news site covering theater, dance, music, food, culture. The mission of the site is to engage with Orange County’s artistic and cultural communities at every level by publishing news and critical analysis to encourage interest, participation, fellowship and dialogue.

Each year, we create and produce a full-length story ballet for the ballet students. The creation involves translating a story into a ballet that accommodates all levels into on cohesive production. As the director, I, along with my team, am responsible for casting the (100+ students), music curation, sets, costumes, and all administrative operations such as rehearsals and cast communications.

Plan and teach hour-long classes for children ages 3-18. Assist with choreography and performance production for annual performances.

Manage and generate content for studio’s website, newsletter and social media platforms. Duties include preparing/editing written content, advertisement/flyer design, video editing and various administrative tasks.

The power of well-crafted publication content was revealed to me while creating a booklet for NASA to promote the research of their University Research Centers. I designed and authored a 20 page booklet which included short profile sketches describing 45 NASA interns’ research projects and general NASA experience. The booklet featured 45 profiles of scientists and their current exploratory endeavors. Researching, interviewing and managing the content for a multi-faceted project like this equipped me with the skills to carry out a project from idea to reality.
