In my recent position as an intern I worked to create prevention groups in the after-school programs. I also created groups for students in the elementary and middle school levels to teach skills like emotion regulation and self-management. At the clinical level I shadowed a school social worker in individual therapy. I shadowed at the elementary school then moved onto shadowing the middle and high school.
