Implemented the shopping cart portal for Allstate Insurance where customers can bundle multiple products to quote insurance policies under a common window. This project covers the end-to-end process for obtaining an insurance policy including a cart experience where products can be added or removed in accordance with the available savings. Consequently, this saved the company a lot of money by eliminating labor and call center costs. Technologies used: TypeScript, .Net REST Api web services.Participated in the company's hackathon where I led a team of 3 engineers to enhance the user experience and automate object detection and categorization when users uploaded images on their insured products using Google’s CloudVision API. This eliminated manual review of images uploaded to categorize the type of damage to the insured product.
