Hr Manager
CurrentTrains and supports a team of HR Generalists through modeling best practices, auditing work, conducting performance reviews, and extensive coaching. Oversees (and steps in to assist with, as needed) all HR Generalist duties including, but not limited to: hiring, onboarding, benefits enrollment, employee file organization and management, drug testing, employee discipline and development, complaints/conflict resolution, investigations, and employee separations. Assists with development and leads implementation of new company policies and departmental processes. Provides coaching and support to department managers on their employee issues. Manages the payroll department including: ensuring timely weekly payroll processing for roughly 500 employees, implementation of new payroll software, and regular auditing/review to confirm wage and hour law compliance and adherence to payroll best practices. Guides and supports the company through large scale organizational change including acquisitions, new company launches, and mass layoffs. Spearheads projects such as employee handbook updates and company-wide rollout of new software and systems. Navigates the constant daily and long-term challenges that come with a fast-paced, extremely dynamic work environment spanning several different industries.
