In coordination with the Office of the General Counsel, the Law Department, and the Comptroller’s Office, handle Agency policy regarding collection actions for damage to Parks property, including trees. Process the agency's affirmative litigation cases against all Tree Damage, Property Damage and Vehicle Damage that occurs in the five boroughs. This includes negotiation and arbitration of cases for everything from park benches, to street trees, to historical monuments and sites. Coordinates strategy regarding eliminating the encroachment of Parks property by private citizens.Serve as liaison for Parks Department with general public, contractors, political office, other agency divisions and City agencies for resolution of conflicts.Research and prepare correspondence for General Counsel and Deputy General Counsel.Handle the in-take and release of Comptroller and Freedom of Information Law requests relating to tree incidents in the five boroughs.

Serve as Manhattan field liaison for the Equal Employment Opportunity Office. Conduct a limited inquiry into the claims brought by the aggrieved person. Work with them to resolve these issues. -Under the new initiatives of the new Director of EEO in 2010, started investigating EEO complaints.-Monitor and direct calls regarding EEO complaints within the 5 boroughs. -Work on special projects as available and attend monthly EEO staff meetings. -Most recently, began supervising the initial process concerning paperwork, specifically Reasonable Accommodations.-Hold monthly designated office hours during which employees can meet individually with the EEO Counselors. -Completed "Equal Employment Opportunity" Training through the Department of Citywide Administrative Services in 2019. -Completed "Conflict Management Training" through the Office of Administrative Trials and Hearings in 2019.-Completed "Mediation" Training through the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission New York in 2019.-Completed City-wide Diversity and Equal Employment Opportunity Computer Based Training in 2020.-Completed "Sexual Harassment Prevention" Training through the Department of Citywide Administrative Services in 2021. -Completed "Gender Identity" Training through the Department of Citywide Administrative Services in 2021.-Completed "lgbTq: The Power of Inclusion" Training through the Department of Citywide Administrative Services in 2021.
