VeriShip has a passion for saving money and driving process improvement for companies that ship with UPS and FedEx. I was lucky to be able to bring my passion for forensic accounting, data analysis and expertise to help create and shape the culture, procedures and expansion strategies for VeriShip, a start up SaaS. With an emphasis on proactive client-centric culture, partnered with insightful collaboration with colleagues and clients, VeriShip cultivated a 96% client retention rate and made the 2014 Inc. 5000 Fastest Growing Privately Held Companies in America. From the conception of VeriShip’s audit service I was able to take the client’s data that was once complex and unmanageable and provide concise and valuable visibility into their shipping spend. Using that data to drive conversations with clients and listening to their challenges I was able to build customized solutions, driving savings and process improvement that dwarfed the audit savings and enriched the client experience. As Executive Vice President of Client Services I worked one-on-one with all stakeholders of a company to provide the customized solutions that help them make informed and reliable decisions to cut costs and optimize the way they ship. I created a Client Engagement Center that closed the loop between client feedback and the product developers. Using case-management software with our clients and internally with our product developers we were able to increase audit efficacy by 40%, resolution response time improved by 30% and value add service offerings increased 10 fold.I also worked closely with my client service team to provide leadership, education and support to ensure they could provide our entire client base with those same cost savings solutions found through our web based reporting. Our goal at VeriShip is to provide 100% customer satisfaction. We want to be considered a member of a client's team, working with them and providing the support they need.

As owner of Karin Lindmark Accounting I worked for 10 -12 small business owners in the area Kansas City Area to provide them with complete accounting records. I had various jobs to do depending on what the client needed. I did anything from data entry of checks, deposits and journal entries, to bank reconciliations, tax forms, and reviewing the P/L statement and balance sheet for anomolies. Often times I would audit historical data in order to get them up to date with their accounting. I worked on many different accounting programs from Quickbooks, Peachtree, and programs specific to their fields. I also worked with Word, Excel and Outlook.

As Head Accountant at Van Deurzen & Associates, P.A. I had full responsiblities for all accounting aspects of their business. I did payroll, bank reconciliaitons, AR collections, data entry, invoicing, general journal entries, reporting, analysis, small claims process, and Accounts Payable.
