Right Source provide end to end Non Profit Governance advice and support. My role entails attending several board and committee meetings per month, and involves all aspects of governance and risk, from minute taking through to risk framework reviews and board evaluations. It is an absolute pleasure to work in this space with the incredible people that give their time to support non-profit organisations.

Brismark is the industry organisation in Queensland that represents fruit and vegetablewholesalers operating in the Brisbane Produce Market. The organisation represents the bestinterests of the wholesaling sector of the fruit and vegetable industry, the Brisbane Markets andthe industry generally. My duties at Brismark were varied and interesting, often changing with the needs of the organisation. As Ecommerce coordinator I was responsible for the day to day running of an E-commerce site (x-cart) with multiple vendors. A large component was ensuring timely deliveries and managing customer feedback. I also documented processes (visio), composed an operation manual and trained other staff in use of the e-commerce site.

Acting in the role of Membership Officer, it was my pleasure to promote Member Services and build and maintain networks and relationships with the market community including members, buyers, growers and other stakeholders across the Fruit & Vegetable Supply Chain. The role also provided support to the marketing team, assisting with campaign activities and preparation of management reports.

My duties at Brismark were varied and interesting, often changing with the needs of the organisation. EA duties included engagement & liaison with chamber & board members, executive support, ad hoc project management, preparation of board meetings, distribution of agendas, minute taking. Responsibilities also included maintaining websites, membership database management and e-distribution of communications and working with ASIC website for lodgement of and company searches.

As well as assisting with the development of company manuals, and supporting forms, policies, and procedures I was also responsible for document management using SharePoint. I used Microsoft Dynamics AX to add/import users, edit profiles , add permissions/privileges to user roles, troubleshoot workflow and system issues, on board employees and support the accounts payable and receivable processes through training and support of staff. In coordinating the development of Bus Queensland's new website I was required to research, write, resource or produce content, create complex forms for submissions such as jobseeker / customer enquiry /quotes, create / edit webpages, upload content and images and create / update links.

As Customer Service Manager for Bus Queensland I was both advocate for the customer as well as a representative of the organisation. I ensure that our customers have the best possible experience on our services. My role embraces feedback as a trigger for improvement, driving change in order to meet expectations, deliver communications and fulfil promises to our customers.

As Office Manager of a peak industry body for the Bus Industry in Queensland it was my role to manage the administration of the organisation and provide executive and membership support. I was part of a very small team supporting the Executive Director to achieve the advocacy objectives of the Peak Industry Body as directed by the relevant committees. My role required frequent interaction with members from a broad range of business structures, government departments and officials and national representatives of partner organisations. Being part of such a small team I needed to be flexible team player, multi skilled and willing to get the job done with tenacity and minimal fuss. A typical day could include attending Board/Committee meetings, organising conferences and state-wide events, writing and developing Industry Publications, liaising with stakeholders, providing advice to members, reconciling accounts, taking minutes and sending a press release. This is a role that I enjoyed very much.
