Collaborate with students, staff, partners, and leaders across the organization to advise senior leadership in how to mobilize staff and resources to fulfill the commitments of the District's Climate Crisis Response, Climate Justice and Sustainable Practices Policy. Set Climate Crisis Policy KPIs, Develop and implement processes and programs for monitoring progress on implementation of strategies to reach policy goals and objectives. Develop strategic implementation programs and proposals for advancing more equitable student education, leadership, and advocacy. Manage the District Student Council and Climate Justice Youth Advisory, facilitate the Board of Education Climate Crisis Response Committee, and lead the Climate Crisis Staff Advisory Group, in addition to providing general support and serving as a resource for the community on the organization's climate action plans.Connect the goals focused on operational sustainability and reducing greenhouse gas emissions with social impact goals of depending efficacy and resilience for our most underserved communities. Represent the District in intergovernmental advocacy and interagency partnerships.

• Develop communication, outreach, education, and engagement programming to connect students, staff, and community to build a culture of sustainability and connect individuals to solutions for climate justice • Manage the Sustainability Governance Council (SGC) for inclusive decision making across departments, positions, levels, and roles, including meeting facilitation, committee goal setting, accountability, and communication with university leadership• Manage and communicate institution sustainability data, external reporting, and goal setting through AASHE STARS, Second Nature Carbon Commitment, and Energy STAR • Facilitate network of sustainability partners including representation from local governance, industry, start-ups, and non-profits • Utilize external data reporting goals to guide and facilitate over 100 stakeholders over six working groups involved in the SGC to create the institutional Sustainability Action Plan with short term progress reports and long-term roadmap around ESG goals such as: achieve carbon neutrality by 2050, reduce waste, increase equity, and develop a green funding strategy.• Manage a passionate team of students, volunteers and community members committed to making change.

Develop content and implement marketing strategy for the early learning centers, fundraising, and related events on social media, mass mailers, newsletters, and flyers. Design and launch annual report.Coordinate and manage volunteer duties, recruitment, and hours.

Work with the Boulder County PACE (Partners for a Clean Environment) program to help businesses with energy efficiency, water conservation and Zero Waste practices, with a focus specifically on compliance assistance with the Universal Zero Waste Ordinance.Designed marketing materials for the PACE program including but not limited advertisements, flyers, posters, and info-graphics.

Develop and implement an action plan for providing outreach and assistance to all business owners, employees, property owners, residents, and visitors of Boulder about the Universal Zero Waste Ordinance, which will require all buildings to have composting and recycling services in addition to their trash service by June 2016. Create marketing materials and strategies for educational events, and develop relationship with business partners to encourage compliance.

Create and manage events at for the university's Environmental Center. This involves finding and scheduling presenters, finding and confirming sponsors and event partners, booking rooms and catering, and advertising to make sure these events are well attended.Collaborate with University Administration, Finance, Accommodation, and Marketing departments to plan three-day conference focusing on social and environmental solutions

Conduct Energy Behavior Consultations and install energy and water appliance upgrades for student renters around the Boulder area. Analyze collected data to calculate energy saving and carbon reduction. Use this data to apply for more funding to expand our goals.Update annual report, reference guide, program forms, and marketing materials.

Prepare an exciting and interaction hour long presentation to show incoming Freshmen that sustainability is a major priority at CU Boulder. Involved writing the script, putting together the Prezi, designing games, then acting and presenting the orientation session twice a week. Also included tabling, handing out stickers, and talking with incoming Freshmen and their parents about the CU Environmental Center Mission.
