I have over 12 years of Administrative experience within high energy atmospheres. What sets my particular set of skills apart, is my innovative adaptability and combination of non-profit, higher education, and corporate business understanding. In my most recent role at the Denver Zoo, which was eliminated due to financial hardship from the COVID-19 closures, I served as Development Assistant, managing a multitude of projects while keeping the day-to-day flow of the department running smoothly and assisting the Chief Development Officer. I am an expert multi-tasker with specific skill in prioritization, which served me well with the competing demands of not only administrative duties and projects, but calendar management for busy directors and executives, answering donor and board member inquiries, and assisting with grant contracts. Prior to relocating to Denver, I was employed full time at Vanderbilt University in the Development and Alumni Relations department. My role of Program Assistant supported the Associate Deans of fundraising for Vanderbilt Divinity School and the Blair School of Music, in communicating with donors and organizations that support the school. I greatly enjoyed the challenges of managing fundraising operations and calendars, event planning, travel arrangement, and database management for this specific pair of teams. I also served as the liaison for the Boards of Directors for both schools, keeping them well informed of events and fundraising opportunities.I have extensive experience in budget management, accounts receivable and payable, as well as payroll management for both the non-profit and for-profit sectors. I am passionate about efficiency, attention to detail, and customer service. Though I work very well independently, I truly shine in a team environment and love the challenge of anticipating and understanding the needs of colleagues and the department.I have a passion for education, recently completing a Master’s degree at Vanderbilt Divinity School for my own personal development, concentrating on the Theological impact of Women in the development of religion.
