Fast-paced work environment; monitor open dining sections of the restaurant for empty and available tables; estimate wait times for guests; monitor guest waiting list; ensure needs of the guests are met while they are waiting. Responsible for answering the telephone; booking reservations; taking and packaging to-go orders; moving tables together to accommodate large parties. As a server, take orders and provide excellent service. Work as expeditor to ensure all orders are prepared in a timely manner and are taken to the customer with proper presentation.

Routinely responsible for opening and/or closing the store for business; maintain sales report and inventory sheets for tobacco, lottery tickets, and high demand products; responsible for stocking product on the floor/back stock; receiving inventory, and occasionally ordering product shipments; responsible for checking product expiration dates and pulling expired product; stock and maintain organization of the walk-in and standing coolers; welcome customers by greeting them; offer them assistance; advise customers by providing information on products; keep clientele informed of preferred customer sales and future merchandise of potential interest; upsell product, company credit and gift cards; help customer make selections by building customer confidence; total purchases; processing payments in the form of checks, cash, and/or store/other credit cards.
