I represent and advise clients in the areas of estate planning, probate filings and administration, estate litigation, other probate court matters including minor and adult guardianships, and all aspects of family law including divorce, legal separation, and child custody.

Reviewed petitions, motions, and other filings to ensure compliance with legal requirements and to create memoranda in preparation for hearings and trials; drafted administrative orders as necessary outlining corrections that must be made to petitions filed in Court and / or scheduled hearings; conducted legal research and drafted substantive judicial orders entered by Judge Kelley S. Powell; independently researched and advised Judge Powell on matters regarding Weapons Carry Licenses; trained deputy clerks on matters related to estate filings, minor guardianships, and Weapons Carry Licenses; supervised law student summer interns.

Researched and wrote memoranda on personal injury issues including medical malpractice, products liability, and car accidents; drafted pleadings, discovery requests, proposed orders of court, demand letters, and other transactional documents; observed trials, hearings, and mediations.

I worked closely with the team of Legal Research professors to ensure that all assignments for the Introduction to Legal Research class were up-to-date and accurate; assisted first year law students with completing the assignments, as needed.
