As someone looking to re-enter the employment field after having a child, I am looking for a remote position that offers a challenge as well as flexibility. I have a Bachelor of Psychology degree and my Associate of Education degree, which I used in my roles as both a Registered Behavior Technician and as an English teacher. These positions, in which I worked with children with developmental disabilities and teenagers, taught me how to be professional, patient, adaptable, and communicative. I also learned how to be empathetic towards others, always looking through the world from a different perspective. I was able to master time management, often juggling multiple clients, students and their individual needs at one time. In my time as a Customer Service Representative, I grew as an advocate for the customer, focusing on problem solving and customer satisfaction. I became adept at data entry and learning new systems. I found that I was naturally skilled at how to communicate and set customers at ease while making them feel confident that I could solve their concerns. I hope to find the right company that allows me to build on these abilities while learning new skills as well.
