Assisted in all necessary duties and responsibilities to conduct new student orientation. New student orientation is a two day event consisting of multiple organized activities across the College of Charleston campus. As an intern, I assisted in the preparation and execution of these events. This included manual labor, logistical movement of students and necessary equipment, and exemplary customer service skills.

I am a student leader that serves as the bridge between College of Charleston freshmen residents and campus resources. I plan community building events, provide solutions and aid in resolving roommate conflicts, inform students of events going on around campus, work on-call, and work at the dorm's front desk.

In this position, I taught beginner horse riding lessons to equestrians ranging from 6 to 40 years old. These lessons taught students safety, horse care practices, and how to properly ride. In various weather and outdoor condition, I provided care to horses and up-kept the barn facilities by ensuring the barn was clean and suitable for the living needs of the horses. I aided in the training of onboarding summer employees.
