I am an independent writer, but over the past 20 years, I have devoted most of my professional effort to writing for Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School. My assignments run the gamut from feature articles, to faculty and alumni profiles, to summaries of basic research. Before the medical school's newsletter, "From the Dean's Desk" was discontinued, I was its principal writer. In addition, I wrote, edited, and designed "Making the Rounds," an internal newsletter for the medical school's clinical practice group.

I write features, news, faculty and student profiles and research summaries as well as drafting the dean's message for the medical school's annual magazine, Robert Wood Johnson Medicine. Since 2003, I have been the principal --- often sole writer --- of the school's quarterly newsletter, From the Dean's Desk.In 2007, University Medical Group, the clinical practice arm of the medical school, invited me to proposed a concept and design for an internal newletter. My proposal for "Making the Rounds" was accepted and, until the publication was discontinued in a change of leadership at the practice, I researched, wrote, and edited six issues. In addition, I have written articles for several of the medical school's annual reports.

Research, do interviews, and write feature articles, alumni profiles, and research reports for "Robert Wood Johnson Medicine.," the medical school's annual magazine-length publication. I also research and write "From the Dean's Desk," the school's 6 to 8-page newsletter, published four times year.

I have researched and written two recent annual reports for the hospital, I also write for BreakThroughs, the hospital's community-oriented quarterly newsletter/magazine.

My husband and I co-authored bimonthly reviews of restaurants in a 25-mile radius of Princeton, NJ.

For a community publication, I covered the reorganization of the Acute Inpatient Physical Therapy center and designed a flow chart for physicians, to clarify the decision-making process involved in admitting patients to the program.

I wrote "Health Matters," a weekly column based on interviews with the medical staff. The column covered various medical topics (153 of them) that would be of interest to patients.In addition, I researched and wrote one issue of the medical center's annual report.
