-Investigating the impact of ageing and hearing loss on the brain and cognition to provide vital insights into how hearing loss is related to brain health in ageing. -Led research across a range of associated projects employing methodological expertise in: behavioural experiment building, stimuli creation, neuroscientific techniques (Electroencephalography and Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation), online research, data manipulation and analysis using Praat, MATLAB (EEGLAB, Palamedes), R, PsychoPy, Presentation, and SPSS.-Active engagement with community groups and scientific organisations to disseminate findings and share research goals.-Funded by UK Research and Innovation, Biotechnology and Biological Sciences Research Council (PI Dr Helen Nuttall).

-Researching the physiological basis of individual’s fluctuations in time perception to better understand how time distortions occur in the real-world. -Collected ambulatory data from participants over a 6-hour period via wearable ECG and GSR sensors, and employed Matlab for data analysis.(PI Dr Ruth Ogden)

-Researching Listening Effort to advance knowledge which provides the basis for incorporating physiological listening effort measures into audiological practice.-Employed psychophysiological theories of effort, motivation and cardiac physiology to research and quantify listening effort, and to predict performance in listening tasks. -Aiming to enhance our understanding of listening effort and may, in the future, help audiologists to enhance the quality of audiological assessments, to reduce mental effort involved in listening for people with hearing impairments.Supervised by Dr Michael Richter

-Researching how digital television in 4K resolution influences the emotions of the viewer. -Using physiological measures (EMG, GSR) of muscular activity and physiological arousal, and self-reports.

Working in a customer service role in both Altrincham and Liverpool branches. Consistently providing excellent and efficient service, driving sales both independently and through team motivation, and managing and resolving difficult situations in a fast-paced, professional environment. Received several employee awards including recognition from the regional manager for role modelling customer service excellence within stores.

Responsible for store standards, product availability as a pro-active team member providing excellent customer service.
