Some delivery highlights: -Panel discussion at COP26 in Glasgow on community-led innovation for the Sustainable Transport Alliance-Programmed 2 day conference on rail transport policy with Community Rail Network and the Department for Transport-Venue scoping and initial programming for conference on homelessness and housing policy for Capital Letters-Lead on speaker acquisition and shaping the debates featured on stage for the Inclusive Growth Conference 2022 for Centre for Progressive Policy My work often includes: speaker sourcing (research, selections, invites, briefings, logistics); venue research and selection; composing event briefings for internal and external stakeholders; project management; budgeting; scheduling and creating digital communications; and coordinating between research and communications departments to ensure key messages come across clearly at events.

I provided strategic leadership over Centre for London’s events programme, in terms of content, delivery and financial sustainability. We created a wide variety of policy-driven events for London leaders, thinkers and doers, including roundtables, conferences, launches and pitch nights.

As Events Manager, I planned and executed our events strategy and delivery, ensuring that London's most interesting and influential people engaged with our policy ideas.

As a producer at A Door In A Wall, I worked with a core team of eight to create immersive games on the streets of London. This involved everything from sales and marketing to small business administration, set building, actor wrangling, and ensuring small children didn't run off with our props. It involved loads of creative problem solving, quick thinking, and creating buy-in amongst the communities where we held our events. After I retired as a member of the core team, I acted as a member of their Advisory Board. This involved looking out for new business opportunities, offering feedback on strategic plans, and jumping in wherever help was required during the run of a show.

As Campaigns and Content Manager, I led the charge online for a relational welfare state fit for the 21st century. I ran the Relational Welfare Blog, where we demonstrated that services that empower and connect people are within our reach. We discussed political ideas, shared real life stories, and championed the people that are making relational welfare happen. In addition to running the blog, I handled digital communications for Participle and managed our social media channels. It was an especially versatile role in that Participle didn't just come up with innovative service ideas, we actually ran services the way we wanted to see them done at a national scale. This means I had access as a communications professional to the real people using our services, and heard their stories directly from them. It was an invaluable reality check in a jargon-heavy business. As the only communications person in a small company, I have the privilege of being involved in every project we take on and lending my skills wherever they are needed. I might be creating a video on participatory democracy, composing an article for publication on the Troubled Families Unit, writing a six month social media content plan and recruiting members for our services at Croydon Council, all on the same day.

I have completed independent field research in Turkey, including interviews with slum residents, municipal government authorities, NGO workers and academics. I utilized this research in a comprehensive analysis of water infrastructure in informal housing in Istanbul, with a view to resolving the conflict between clean water provision for all versus environmentally and financially sustainable water management.Additionally, I was elected LSE Course Representative by my peers. In this position, I liaised between students, professors and staff; mediated conflicts; and encouraged community participation by keeping students informed and listening to their concerns.My program courses included: Development History, Theory and Practice; Cities, People and Poverty in the Global South; Urban Planning in the Global South; Philosophy of Race and Space.

-Communicated with clients on a daily basis to ensure satisfaction and tight control of money management for large corporate pension plans. -Specially selected to spearhead hedge fund pricing project and reconciliation of funds with investment managers. -Manipulated and monitored domestic and international trading systems to regulate the flow of cash and securities, while adapting and preparing for new business via account opening and complex spreadsheet creation.
