About Katherine Cole

I am currently an Honors College pre-med student at the College of Charleston, pursuing my bachelor's degree in psychology with minors in neuroscience and chemistry. I'm an active member of Student Government Association, Honors Student Ambassadors, Phi Kappa Phi Honors Society, Best Buddies, and Alpha Epsilon Delta (Pre-health Honors Society). I have experience with geriatric populations in acute care as well as children with various behavioral disorders and special needs. I have experience with shadowing in operating rooms, in clinical settings, and with sports medicine. I am a research assistant on two studies at MUSC with the Institute of Psychiatry under the Youth Collaborative program, investigating youth development and adolescent substance abuse. I am highly involved in my community and enjoy engaging in efforts to promote health and education.
